Our story
Ma'ida means “the table”, the one everyone gathers around. We opened in a corner house in Jabal Al-Weibdeh with six tables, one oven and a promise: whenever you come, there is something good to eat.
Mornings belong to shakshuka, warm bread and pancakes. Lunch is bowls, pasta and kofta off the charcoal. By evening the lights go low, the steaks come out and the terrace fills up. The coffee machine never rests.
Everything is cooked here from scratch, with vegetables from the Jordan Valley and bread from the bakery across the street.
